VILLA FURUVIK AS FILMING LOCATION
Villa Furuvik's villa, Furuvik's beach sauna, Furuvik's courtyard sauna, the barbecue shed or Furuvik's yard area can be rented as a shooting location. A versatile filming location in Helsinki meets a wide range of needs. You can rent either the entire area or one of its buildings for filming. Furuvik's strengths as a filming location are its central location, versatile building base, functional technology and large, versatile yard area. Saunas can be rented either cold or warm as needed, the facilities in the area together enable preparation and meals for even a larger film crew. You can bring your own catering or order food from our partners. If necessary, a truck can drive into the villa's yard. Various props can also be rented in the buildings and grounds, if needed. VILLA
Shooting in the interior of the villa is possible all year round. During the winter, longer filming times can be arranged at the villa if the facilities are reserved in time. You can get the best idea of the interior and dimensions of the villa by visiting the place, but the 360 photos also give a good idea of the premises. In the space, e.g. feature film, series, lifestyle programs, commercials, portraits and talk shows.
YARD SAUNA
You can get the best idea of the interior of the courtyard sauna by taking a look our photo gallery. The building has previously functioned as a chicken coop and later as an outbuilding supporting living. The facade of the red-painted, original building is protected and the building has recently been completely renovated respecting the spirit of the house. In addition to the unique sauna paneled with hay bales, the courtyard sauna also has a kitchen and lounge area. The interior is decorated in an atmospheric manner, respecting the history of the courtyard sauna. Power is available to the building.
BEACH SAUNA
The Furuvik beach sauna is located right next to the seashore. The inside of the sauna is spacious and dark-colored, the window opens to a seascape, and there are two sturdy swimming steps on the pier. For filming, the sauna can also be rented cold, which makes working with the cameras easier. In the sauna, product photos have been shot inside and outside, sauna scenes from movies, advertisements related to boating and open swimming, as well as other advertisements where saunas and the Finnish landscape are the focus.
BARBECUE ROOF
A barbecue place has been made into Furuvik's old ice cellar. In the grill canopy, filming is possible with the desired background of a rough stone wall, a stack of cracks or an open fire. Making a fire in the barbecue shelter is possible all year round.
OUTDOOR AREAS
There is an opportunity to film video, commercials or stills in Furuvik's courtyard. The apple orchard offers flower glory in the summer and ripe apples on the branches in the fall. The buildings work well as a background even for rural landscapes - this is a rarity near the center of Helsinki. The appropriately weathered stone steps in front of the villa provide a dramatic background for photos all year round.
