Furuvik Seaside Sauna sauna is located in Helsinki, Laajasalo Jollas. Our address is Furuvikintie 5, 00870 Helsinki. The Seaside Sauna is located next to a sheltered sandy beach, right by the water. The dirt road to the sauna starts from the end of Furuvikintie on the right side of the rocky roundabout down towards the beach.
Furuvik can be easily reached by car, public transport or your own boat. There are about 15 free parking spaces around the roundabout and in the yard of Villa Furuvik (yellow villa) and it is also possible to park cars along Furuvikintie. Please do not drive the car all the way down to the beach. From Herttoniemi, Furuvik can be reached by HSL buses 85 and 86.
- With bus number 85, the name of the stop closest to Furuvik at Jollaksen Alepa is: TAKILANTIE H4135, Jollaksentie. Walking distance to Furuvik is about 700m.
- The name of the stop closest to Furuvik by bus no. 86 is: HEVOSSALMENTIE H4107, Laajasalontie. Walking distance to Furuvik is about 900m.

Please note the following:
– Sauna tickets and private sauna bookings must be purchased beforehand from Saunat.fi online store
– No registration required upon arrival
– Wait for your booked sauna time to begin before entering
– Exit the sauna and shower 15 mins before your booking ends; be dressed by the end
– You can get changed at the seaside sauna or in the changing wagon
– Lockers for valuables are available in the changing wagon
– Restrooms are in the upper courtyard, left of the Courtyard sauna (Pihasauna), see the map

It is possible to buy non-alcoholic beverages from the fridge that is on the patio of the sauna. Payment can be done with MobilePay or cash. It is also possible to rent a set of towels and seat covers or a bathrobe from the sauna or buy a traditional sauna whisk.
Please note that our sauna shifts are very popular. You can only arrive at the place when the reservation starts and you must leave the sauna by the end of the rental time. In this way we ensure that the sauna shifts stays within the reservation time and that the sauna facilities are cleaned carefully between reservations.
Please note that Villa Furuvik wants to support sustainable development in every way, and we hope that our customers will also take part in this by sorting trashes in the containers provided.
PRIVATE RESERVATIONS
You can book the sauna for your private use. The Seaside Sauna also has a hot tub, which can be rented with your sauna reservation for an additional 299€. The covered patio has plenty of seating space and good opportunities for dining even with a larger group. You can also rent a gas grill for €50.
If you wish, you can bring your own food and drinks to your event or order delicious catering menu through us. Seaside sauna has a fridge for storing food and beverages. Catering can be arranged for groups of at least 12 people. Tap water at the Beach sauna is drinkable.
Private shifts of more than five hours include towels and seat covers for 10 people. Please note that sauna shifts of less than five hours do not include towel sets. Towels can be rented for 5€ per set. Bathrobe and towel set with sauna slippers is 12€ per person.
Sauna is heated when your shift starts, unless otherwise agreed.
The city of Helsinki’s public sandy beach is available to everyone, but Beach sauna and its piers are located in their own private area. Thanks to the pier, you can arrive by your own boat or a larger group on a charter vessel, ask offer from our customer service [email protected]. The sea at the end of the pier is 2.4 meters deep.
The final cleaning of the venue is included in the rent. However at the end of the event, it is up to the customer to leave the space in a tidy condition so that the towels are collected in the baskets provided for them, the rubbish in the bins and the bottles and cans in the containers intended for them. All furniture must be in its original place and your own belongings must be taken out of the premises at the end of the event.
ADDITIONAL HOURS
If the time you originally booked is not enough, you can continue your booking with additional hours if the sauna is available.
Extra hours should preferably be arranged in advance by calling or sending a text or Whatsapp message to Villa Furuvik’s customer service on 0400 485 425. Please note that there are two saunas in the area! The sauna you booked is right by the sea, as the name implies.
